Two more colors that are easily confused are the blue-green colors of Aqua and Teal. In the photo, Aqua Opal is on the left, Teal on the right.
Aqua:
- More blue than green.
- UV reactive
- Was made in clear (crystal), opalescent (white ear tips), satin (frosted) and carnival (iridized.) Also combos of opalescent / satin and opalescent / iridized.
Teal:
- More greenish
- NOT UV reactive
- Sold as clear (crystal), satin and carnival (iridized.)
- Was NOT made opalescent
